Selling Wow Green Products - Because You Love them?

By Jonas Bilamy

Selling Wow Green products is a great way to tap into the hot ecologically-friendly product niche, and earn yourself commissions on a product that is making news and headlines. The commission structure is solid, the product has good public appeal, and even the multilevel marketing downline isn't too mathematically challenged.

But honestly, in your business, the worst thing you can do is sell Wow Green products. Selling other people's products is just a way for you to do someone else's work for them.

Instead of selling Wow Green products, or anyone's products, you should sell your own business - and let the products sell themselves.

When you think about it, it should be Wow Green selling Wow Green products. That's what they do. It's their job. And to make that job easier, they've chosen not to sell those products directly to the general public. They only sell them to distributors, who in turn will start selling those same Wow Green products to wholesale customers, who then start selling Wow Green products to retail customers. And of course, at every link in the chain, someone takes a cut of the profits.

But selling Wow Green products... or any products, really, when you concentrate on the brand someone else is building... is ultimately the road to ruin. The main focus of your marketing and promotion should not be on a product. It should be on your business, and the value your business provides.

You're not really selling Wow Green products. You're selling your services as a provider of many products, including Wow Green.

When you put your work into the product instead of the business, selling Wow Green products only works until a bigger and stronger competitor arrives. With the sheer quantity of money changing hands, huge corporations will want to come in and become distributors just like you did... and they'll cut the wholesaler out of the chain. Rather than buy from you and then sell to a retailer, the big boys will just buy from Wow Green themselves, and drop the commission a wholesaler would charge off the price. You can't match that price, so you end up losing most of your sales.

Not that you have much of an alternative. If all of your business effort is invested in selling Wow Green products, that becomes all you can do. A long-term business plan mandates that some of your work... indeed, most of your work... go into the active promotion and marketing of your business, not any of the products it sells.
