Get hooked up with a great mentor or coach. This will dramatically increase you chance of big success in the future as they will show you all they know. They will ease you into your new business and should be available to answer all your questions. If you have searched and found someone or maybe a few people you think could be suitable, test them out. Give them a call and see if you feel comfortable. If you do not want to talk send an email and see if it gets answered. The reason I suggest this is to you get the right person for you and to avoid becoming an orphan. An orphan is someone thats gets left behind after signing up. This does not happen often but you hear a few stories now and then.
Start to brand you and only you. Forget the company pages, it is real people that buyers identify with and purchase from. Tell everyone your own personnel story and promote it everywhere. People will start to recognise your face and trust you which in turn will make it a lot easier for you to make a good income.
Start a Blog and make regular postings to it. Write informative articles to show everyone you know what you are talking about. This will help build up your online presence, so when people check you out they can see your name all over the Internet. Also join up with the major social networking sites and build regular contacts and friends to network with. This will enable you to promote yourself and a company like Your Net Biz or whatever companies you have joined.
Invest in yourself. Buy books and make sure that you read them. Buy recommended programs that your mentor/coach endorses so you can enhance your online business. You can never stop learning enough, neither are you too old to feed your brain.
Work out a budget and never go over it. Spend what is affordable and know your limits. Some people give up too quickly because of this as they run out of money and lose faith. Find out what works and what does not, your mentor will be able to help you with this.
Get a daily or weekly routine going. Be consistent and stick with it. You will find that you will adjust your list all the time until it is right. Write things down on a notepad or your computer and add new ideas. This will become a lot easier the more you do it.
